My Birthday

Well, what a heckic weekend. We decided we would attempted to purchase and install the hitch on my car ourselves. We purchased a hitch, but it didn't fit, even though the box said it would. So we repackaged it and took it back only to find the U-Haul was the only place that sold the hitch. This was after we spent a ton of time running around looking for the electrical hook-ups as well. We finally decided to let U-haul install the hitch so that we could pick the trailer up. Mark waited at U-haul all day in the pouring rain because one hour turned in 6 hours. He didn't leave me the keys to his car, so he was stuck at U-haul. We were able to pick up the trailer and we will be storing it at my mom's house, only because I do not have room to put it at my house.

Mark took me to dinner for my birthday. Coral and Summer got me two CD's. One of Keith Urban and one Johnny Cash. Mark got me a Zume and put a bunch of music on it for me. I like it better than the normal Ipod because you can actually listen to the radio. Perfect for work, now I can listen to music or the radio at work and just keep to myself.

Well, we purchased a pop-up tent trailer that we can take camping instead of using our tent. It is very cool. It has it's own bathroom and kitchen area with 2 king size beds. It came with a heater but we spent the extra money and added an air conditioning unit. I am sure this will come in very handy when it is hot outside. It also has an extra cargo area out front which will be good for all of our stuff. There is also plenty of room for the dogs. We can pick it up once I get a hitch put on my car.

The girls were super excited when we looked at it and we all can't wait to take it out for the first time. Now we will have to find places to find some cool places to go.

Mark

Mark wanted to know why I didn't include his name in my first post. My first post was meant as an introductory. When I post my pictures, I will definitely talk about all the fun things we have done this summer. So there. I mentioned your name : ) And twice as a matter of fact.

My blog is finally working.

Well, with much help from Shelly, I am trying to figure out this whole blogging thing. I have finally figure out how to post a message. It will only take me another year to figure out the whole picture thing.

The girls and I actually go on a lot of trips so I thought this would be a good way to share with everyone all the fun stuff we do.

We have actually done a lot of things this summer. We have been camping in Yucaipa. My brother went with us and the girls became well versed in the PF (poop finger). The poop finger was really beans, but the girls thought it was real. All I have to say is that it got them to eat and provided many laughs, even to this day. A few weeks ago we went to San Diego for four days. We went to Sea World, the Wild Animal Park, Cabrillo Monument, Sea Port Village, and attempted to go to the museums. We have also been to the beach and the Diamond Valley Lake Museum. The museum was cool and the girls had fun with various projects offered to kids their age.
